This group build will run between the end of Scale Model World and Christmas, ie from Monday 9th November to Thursday 24th December. Specs are as follows:
* Any type, any scale
* Any non-standard colour scheme worn by an aircraft at any time in a nation's history.
Non-standard includes:
Any Aerobatic scheme
Any test aircraft scheme
Drone and target aircraft schemes
'Zaps'
Commemorative schemes including disbandment/aircraft type leaving service schemes
In short, any scheme not used by an aircraft in regular squadron service.

This ought to give us a chance to indulge our feminine sides and knock out something eye-catching for christmas. Please sign up below.

I might as well kick it off - I will be making a Mig-21PF of the Indian Air Force 'Red Archers' display team, as shown below:

A colour scheme that is certainly festive, or as my younger relatives might say, 'gay'.

With SMW upon us, there's a possibility that potential new recruits to The Cause will be visiting this Forum. It'd be good if there was a new Group Build to get involved in.

Regards,
Bruce

Great, I was waiting for this thing to happen!
Bring it on, I'll be doing something like this:

Maybe I'll throw in a CL.215 as well, but that's only if I can find the time for that one.

Oops. I realised last nigh that my order from hannants was below the minimum order limit so I had to order it again. I bulked up the order with some supplies I needed and also bought this:

http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=AMU72013

I plan to do it if I have time. I hope it's allowed. It certainly is "any scheme not used by an aircraft in regular squadron service". I probably won't have time to do it anyway.

Cool.
Please note that this GB will now start next Monday, the 16th, to allow people in post-Telford fugue to regain focus and plan/research builds. I will start putting individual build threads etc together at the weekend.
