My 10 year old son loves watching James May`s Toy Stories and it has got him into Airfix.
He has a very constructive mind so this format is great, He`s already built and painted the Spitfire that was on the show and asked for another model so I bought one which arrived today.
It`s the HMS Victorious aircraft carrier, I`ve just sent for all the paints but have a problem... there were NO build instructions included. I have emailed about this but have heard nothing yet and can`t find any downloadable instructions anywhere, so I thought I should come to the people who would know about this and ask for help.
Please help my Lad

I could help, but I won't be fast. My Victorious is boxed somewhere in the house, and I'm on my way to the UK tomorrow.
Someone here should have a set of instructions, though. Meanwhile, you can introduce yourself properly in the "Welcome" thread _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill

Thanks for your reply Brews, I`ve just heard from the seller that a full set of instructions will be on the way in the morning and has said sorry.
I`m going to leave it to my lad to join up here and then he can post in the welcome area as he`s the one with this interest.
Thanks again for your reply and takecare.

Hi there. Welcome to the forum to you and your son. Nice to see that James May has started the ball rolling again.
Just a word about the Victorious. ( If it's the Airfix one. ) This is a very old kit now and not up to current standards. However, the principle is the same in building and painting. Take your time and a decent enough model will be produced.
Also, take your time reading through this Forum and see what models people are building. Check out the comments and see which may be a good one to continue with. There are just so many models outthere that are really good and a great pleasure to build. Some very good value ones too. Any problems and you'll fine lots of help right here on these boards. We're happy to answer questions, as you can see.
Cheers,
