hello again to one and all i got my mclaren mp4-12 1:24 car and the testarossa today im starting with the mclaren first, as a BIG Formula1 fan i am so excited to be building a mclaren the kit looks brilliant some very nice detail to it
here's the box
ive completed the engine i havent put much detail to it as it can hardly be seen ive also sprayed the body and wings in humbroll acrilic #11 (metalic /chrome silver)
i will update tomorrow as im really enjoying this kit

I'm also a big F1 fan so I look forward to seeing your progress on this build. I'd also be interested in how this compares to building a road car.

Like a midget at a urinal I was going to have to stay on my toes.
well so far today i've done the wheels mounted the lower front suspension painted and decald the cockpit and done a bit more to the engine
the body shell still needs a few more coats
the chassis
the Cockpit
the scrub tyres compared to out of the bag tyre
more detail on the engine
so far it's been quite simple compared to a road car im planning on doing a little more later, i think the most difficult part will be the decals on a side note i will be cheering for jenson button this weekend hopeing he can wrap up the title _________________ _______________________________________
